The Bars
Our venues are hand-selected Chicago institutions — neighborhood bars and taverns with deep connections to the city's artistic community and long-standing roles in the life of the neighborhoods they anchor.
A Bridgeport institution since 1965, Bernice’s Tavern is an iconic, family-run neighborhood dive bar where artists, musicians, longtime regulars and newcomers come together. Owner Steve Badauskas's legendary Wednesday-night Stingo is a "do not miss!"

Bucktown traveler’s tavern lined with maps, flags, and stacks of National Geographics, pouring one of Chicago’s most adventurous beer lists in a cozy, well‑worn corner‑bar setting. A great spot for morning coffee!
Logan Square taproom of Naperville’s Solemn Oath Brewing, pairing a diverse draft list and corner‑bar charm with framed vintage art, wood‑paneled warmth, and a steady flow of neighborhood regulars and dogs.
Logan Square's beloved "slashie" – a hybrid bar and liquor store with 200+ beers, ceiling tiles decorated by regulars, and a famously welcoming neighborhood vibe. Make sure you check out the ceiling!

An Avondale standout featuring an expansive patio and a retro-inspired interior that captures the neighborhood's artistic spirit. Try one of Levi's Sazeracs!
An elegant and intimate Lincoln Park destination offering an expertly curated wine selection and sophisticated neighborhood ambience. Staff knows their wines!
